Poem of the Week: Dominic Bury

Poet Dominic Bury grew up in Bideford in Devon and now lives in London where he works as a copywriter & brand writer. In his spare time he manages front-of-house at Coffee-House Poetry nights at the famous Troubadour cellar-club in London’s Earls Court (www.coffeehousepoetry.org). Dom studied Creative Writing at Kingston University & his poems have been widely published in UK poetry journals including Poetry Wales, Ambit and Iota, and in Best British Poetry 2014 (Salt).
Anne-Marie Fyfe’s fifth poetry collection, House of Small Absences (Seren Books) has just been published. Born in Cushendall, County Antrim, Ireland, Anne-Marie now lives in London where she works as an arts organiser. She has won the Academi Cardiff International Poetry Prize, has run Coffee-House Poetry’s readings & classes at London’s leading live literature venue, the Troubadour, since 1997, founded the prestigious Troubadour International Poetry Prize (www.coffeehousepoetry.org), is a poetry co-ordinator for the annual John Hewitt International Summer School in Armagh City, & is a former chair of the UK’s Poetry Society. www.annemariefyfe.com
